For about 100 years Winkler and Dünnebier Süßwarenmaschinen GmbH stands for quality, innovation and tradition. Confectionery plants made by WDS guarantee high-capacity, reliability and sturdiness. In the year 1913, Alfred Winkler and Max Dünnebier layed the foundation stone for the Winkler and Dünnebier Süßwarenmaschinen GmbH, which is nowadays an international successfully working organisation.
A modern company with international presence developed from the smallest technical skills in the beginning.
Since 1997 we develop, construct and produce at our company site in Rengsdorf near Neuwied in the Westerwald region of the Rhine valley, in modern representative office buildings and production halls offering about 10.000 m² of usable floor space.

Today WDS specialises in moulding plants for the complete range of the confectionery industry with different areas of applications and capacities.
However hardly any WDS production plant is like another. The variety of customer wishes, performance expectations and spatial requirements almost always rule out a series production. Individuality in planning and conception therefore pose a continuous challenge and has in the meantime become our strength. This is why we invest in the continuous expansion of our development.
At our WDS Product Technology Centre (PTC) we develop and optimize, in co-operation with our customers, new production facilities for the manufacturing of confectionery products.
A continuous human resource development is another important aspect of our success. The production of high quality WDS production facilities requires state-of-the-art planning and design technology as well as qualified staff.
Our worldwide operating sales team guarantees that we are never too far away from our customers. A first class customer service supports our sales team and provides comprehensive customer care, even in cases where the machines have to be in multi-shift operation for decades.
