Starch Conditioning Plant type 462.10
Installation for the drying of moulding powder. The final humidity and final temperature are adjustable and
kept constant under varying operating conditions by an automatic control system. The principle of low-temperature
drying in an airstream offers optimum efficiency and adaptability to existing buildings. An exhaust heat exchanger
makes it possible to recover up to 70 % of the exhaust heat. Reduction of starch temperature about 15°C - 25°C,
depending on the starch powder throughput.

Advantages
Constant operating conditions over the whole year (independent of the condition of the exterior air, due to pre-cooling of air) |
Energy recovery using a cross-flow heat exchanger incoming air against outgoing air |
Uniform drying of all powder grains (no partial overheating) |
Independent of the room climatisation due to use of exterior air |
With explosion protection certificate |
Only humid powder (no powder mixture) enters the drying |
