At PackExpo WDS and JET will focus on presenting reliable and versatile equipment of consistent quality and on simplifying the jelly process thanks to bundled industry expertise. For this purpose, the WDS America booth will feature lab equipment for product and process development: WDS lab depositors are suitable for all types of pour- and tearable masses for the development of new and the optimization of existing depositing processes. Hänsel´s LAB+ micro kitchen  allows continuous cooking of confectionery masses for product development and small production quantities. In the chocolate sector, WDS is experienced in merging long-term moulding know-how with modern engineering technologies for more than 100 years. The dedicated WDS America Chocolate Team will welcome interested customers from the chocolate sector at PackExpo International 2024. The focus will be on customized solutions for diverse chocolate moulding technologies. With WDS chocolate manufacturing plants, it is possible to make the widest variety of chocolate products with an almost infinite combination of shapes, fillings and colors. Today they are able to offer chocolate moulding machines for all capacity sizes. The paint-free design, easy accessibility and good insight into dirt areas, which contribute to the implementation of high hygienic requirements, should be particularly emphasized here. EasyClean components enable easy set-up and cleaning in all areas with mass contact.

For a couple of years now starchless production technology has been used very successfully for the manufacturing of jellies. Referring to the rapidly growing market for OTC gums and jellies with its high demands for hygienic production plants WDS has developed a new direction regarding the moulding processes. WDS´ starchless plants are characterized by precise cavity spraying, exact mass depositing and absolutely ordered demoulding. 

With WDS Mogul plants high-efficient and productive plants you surely will make the right choice when it comes to starch moulding technology. WDS is experienced in the production of jelly and gum (on gelatine or pectin basis, gum arabic, agar-agar, carrageen), as well as liquorice, fondant, cream, marshmallow foam and similar masses. A core expertise is the depositing of centre-filled products with e.g. a fruit paste filling.

WDS serves small to large sized businesses with capacities from 200 kg/h to 7000 kg/h. Its lab equipment enables product development and innovative depositing processes. The ConfecECO is the start-up line for the production of plain or center-filled products and masses with inclusions in various shapes. Product innovation center

WDS is your solution partner providing all services to transform a product idea into a successful product launch. Novel raw materials, innovative product development, improved recipes: The market for confectionery is probably in a greater state of flux than ever before. To meet all the demands in the confectionery sector, to provide customers with comprehensive support and to implement product requirements, WDS has fully equipped in-house product innovation center. Here, confectionery technologists specialise in the development of new depositing and moulding processes and the optimisation of existing ones in confectionery production. The innovation centre, specifically for chocolate, confectionery (mogul products, starchless technology, OTC confectionery, toffee, fondant and hard candy), houses various tried-and-tested laboratory depositor machines and pilot equipment. To simulate a complete production line on a laboratory scale, the product innovation center of Winkler und Dünnebier Süßwarenmaschinen also has the latest batch and continuous kitchens as well as cooling and curing rooms from partner companies.
