The requirement for 24/7 service is the eWon remote maintenance system, which has been specially designed for WDS machines. eWon is designed to keep response times as short as possible in an emergency and offers the highest possible level of security, availability and connectivity, while at the same time requiring little administration. With eWon, the WDS service personnel can reach all bus systems used in your machine online and read and correct possible errors. It is also possible to make various electronic updates or to carry out minor modifications online.

Whether within WDS business hours or around the clock with the 24/7 service, WDS is aware of the responsibility in the area of data security. The "Defense in Depth Approach" concept of the Ewon & Talk2M solution always guarantees the latest security standards with reliable encryption, authentication and data integrity (ISO27002, IEC 62443-2-4 and NIST Cyber security Framework 1.0). The data connection can also be physically separated on site using a key switch. Connection reports and reporting overviews for all connected machines are provided at all times.

Despite the very high security standards, the implementation effort is minimal. Due to the outgoing connection, no administration by the EDP is necessary. No incoming ports have to be opened.
