Winkler und Dünnebier Süßwarenmaschinen GmbH (WDS) is well known for permanent development and innovation of its production plants. Constant research and development as well as the reaction to trends and customer needs is a guarantee to meet market demands with innovative technologies.
Globally, WDS is the only machinery manufacturer, who has been extremely successful in building molding plants for jellies and chocolates for decades. To serve customers requirements even better, WDS decided to found WDS America Inc. in 2022, an additional subsidiary company especially for the American market covering equipment for confectionery, nutraceutical and pharmaceutical industry.
Thanks to the extraordinary support of the long-term representative Mr. Russ Crosio (Crosio & Associates), WDS has been able to increase their footprint within the strategically important American market during the past years. As Russ is retiring at the end of the year, WDS found a tailored solution especially for the exciting American market and offers you direct access to extensive confectionery know-how through an additional branch. By establishing WDS America Inc. there´s a guarantee for even shorter and flexible sales and service times to become the most reliable partner in confectionery production.
During the past decades WDS has been strategical focusing on the two most important confectionery sectors: chocolate and jellies (starch Mogul and starchless lines). Recently they combined their know how to create tailor-made, hygienic equipment serving the growing market for OTC-type products.
